Exceptional wedding venue. Was lucky enough to get married here a few weeks ago and have nothing but good things to say about the place – stunning location, excellent facilities, and potentially the best accommodation I've ever enjoyed at a wedding (the recently-renovated Farmhouse is particularly excellent). Since choosing our date, we noticed Silchester's evolution – new catering options were added, new facilities, new decorative elements. It shows an attention to detail and a willingness to be the best in what is a very competitive space. We worked closely with Will (Head of Events) throughout our process, who really went above-and-beyond to make sure that my partner and our families were at ease with everything, confident that our money was spent well. No stone was left unturned, and we went into our big day essentially free from stress, knowing that the amazing team at Silchester - working with family members and suppliers - had it all covered. Cannot thank - or recommend - Will and the team at Silchester enough.

We had our wedding at Silchester back in July and what can we say other then they were absolutely amazing! Not only is the venue just stunning everyone who works there is so lovely, kind and helpful and is all about making your day go as smoothly as it possibly can! We got married at Silchester on a beautiful day in July of this year after 18 months of planning! As soon as we found Silchester online we knew we wanted to get married there and from the beginning the team were so helpful and went out of their way to make the day perfect. The venue itself is stunning with so many beautiful locations and we absolutely loved being able to stay on site with our families and friends. The couldn’t fault the food - it was delicious and the pizza at the end of the night was amazing! The day from start to finish was perfect and the team were there to make it run seamlessly. We would recommend it to anyone!

We were lucky enough to get married at Silchester Farm on Friday 25th August 2023 and it was just an absolute dream - the whole day! Everything was perfect and we have the team at Silchester Farm to thank for that. They are all incredible! From the start liasing with Hayley via emails she was very attentive and helpful with getting our plans down on paper, to the day of the wedding where we had the lovely Lizzie coordinating our day for us. Lizzie was just incredible she was super attentive, friendly and just so lovely to us all day - nothing was too much of an ask for Lizzie - we cannot thank you enough for making us feel so special and looking after us so well. We fell in love with the farm back in December 2021 and could not wait to show our friends and family the stunning venue hoping they would love it as much as we did and we were not disappointed - the amount of compliments we've had on how amazing the venue, staff and day was speaks volumes! We cannot thank you all enough and look forward to returning as many times as we can in the future for the market days, afternoon teas and other fun events they host! We would highly recommend Silchester Farm as a wedding venue if you want the most magical day!

We recently had our wedding at Silchester Farm, and cannot recommend the venue enough! We found the venue just after it opened a couple of years ago, and have been so impressed by the constant additions and improvements to the venue (such as adding more decoration, buildings, accommodation etc). Evee, our event manager for the day made the day run so perfectly and put us both completely at ease both before and during the wedding itself. Nothing was too much trouble and Evee made sure the day went off without any faults! All of our guests have commented on the gorgeous setting of the venue - there definitely is no expense spared in the detail or the design! What sets Silchester apart is that it’s not part of a big company with lots of wedding venues, it’s a standalone venue with huge attention to detail and a lot of upkeep to ensure it remains flawless. It really helped us getting a list of recommended suppliers as well, as we knew Silchester Farm had worked with these people in the past. Absolutely love everything about Silchester Farm and our only regret is that we can’t have another wedding here!!! We’ve made such special mementoes with our closest friends and family. We got married here 25th February 2023 after discovering the farm in the middle of the pandemic, and can honestly say it was magical from start to finish. Through 2 years of planning Silchester constantly went above and beyond to help us and we were able to visit the venue several times through lots of exciting changes as they expanded. We were assigned Daniel as our coordinator and he was amazing - even running back to get my flat shoes to change into half way through the day and directly my bridesmaids to the second to walk down the aisle. He was such a calming presence! The venue is so gorgeous and you can decorate it to fit whatever theme you're going for, and they have some wonderful suppliers they can recommend. The fairy lights all over the barns are brilliant and make the venue magical. We had the best day and can't wait to come back.

As a photographer, I was blown away by the beauty of the location and the attention to detail that went into creating the perfect setting for the happy couple's big day. From the moment I arrived at Silchester Farm, I was struck by the peacefulness and tranquility of the surroundings. The rolling hills and lush greenery provided a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding ceremony and photos, and I was spoilt for choice for areas to do the couple portraits. There were so many areas with stunning natural light that perfectly complemented my style of photography, rich beautiful colours and tones with beautiful decor and furniture - food for the eyes and soul. The wedding planner at Silchester Farm was an absolute delight to work with. He kept me updated throughout the day to ensure that the couple got the shots they wanted, and was always on hand to answer any questions or concerns I had. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure the couple's day was perfect was truly impressive. The farm's beautifully restored barn and surrounding grounds have a distinctively rustic feel, with their weathered wood and old-fashioned charm. However, this rustic aesthetic is complemented by a range of modern amenities and high-end finishes that give the space an undeniable sense of luxury. From the elegant chandeliers that hang from the barn's ceiling, to the state-of-the-art sound system that ensured crystal-clear audio throughout the ceremony and reception, every aspect of Silchester Farm is designed to provide the perfect blend of rustic charm and high-end comfort. The staff at Silchester Farm were also a pleasure to work with. They were attentive, accommodating, and always on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly throughout the day. Their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the wedding, from the beautifully decorated reception hall to the delicious food that was served. Overall, I would highly recommend Silchester Farm as a wedding venue to anyone looking for a truly magical setting for their special day. The combination of stunning natural beauty, top-notch service, and an amazing wedding planner make it the perfect place to celebrate love and create lasting memories. I can't leave without mentioning Daniel the wedding planner, who was not only kind and genuine but also incredibly helpful to both the wedding party and myself. As a photographer, I sometimes find myself taking on the role of a coordinator, since I am familiar with the process of a wedding day. However I didn't need to, Daniel was particularly helpful in coordinating the confetti shot, ensuring that I was prepared and ready to take the perfect photo. This was incredibly beneficial, as I am usually busy setting up my camera and directing guests, in addition to preparing the couple for the shot. At the end of my shift, I was served by what I believe was Olivia. Her friendly and attentive service was excellent, and it was clear that she was dedicated to providing a great experience for all customers. I noticed that many of the older wedding guests were enjoying themselves at the bar and in the immediate seating area. This is a testament to the quality of the bar, as everyone seemed to be having a good time and felt welcomed enough to stay standing at the bar. This, in turn, made my job easier, as the relaxed and smiling guests provided great photo opportunities. I'm afraid I will receive all of the praise for the beautiful photos the couple are about to receive but it really would not have been possible without the beautiful venue and the assistance of the staff.

We couldn't recommend Silchester Farm and the team more highly! We had our wedding there and from our first visit fell in love with the venue. We had our ceremony outdoors by the pond and pergola which was so special, the ducks made a little appearance too! Everything ran so smoothly on the day, we didn't have to worry about a thing, and super grateful to our coordinator Daniel who managed everything so seamlessly. They were on hand in the lead up and able to accommodate everything we were looking for. It was the most beautiful, joy-filled day of our lives and any couple looking to get married here will not be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of attending a corporate offsite meeting at Silchester Farm and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything ran smoothly and the team were incredibly accommodating. The venue itself is stunning and provided the perfect atmosphere for our team to reflect on our successes and plan for the future. The food was exceptional, and we were all impressed by the quality and presentation of every dish. With a cosy fire and natural light streaming through the windows, it provided an ideal setting for our offsite meeting. Daniel & Ellie went above and beyond to make our Yoga Retreat at Silchester Farm special for all who were attending. From the moment we arrived to set up to the end, they were attentive to our every need. The space worked perfectly for a retreat experience and food was outstanding! We would highly recommend Silchester Farm as a venue with the WOW factor, everyone loved it.
